Hospice and Palliative Care Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Richland, WA
Full Time Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm, one on-call shift per month
Position Overview The Hospice and Palliative Care Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital connection between patients, families, healthcare providers, facilities, and Tri?Cities Chaplaincy. This role is responsible for promoting access to hospice and palliative care services, ensuring timely and compassionate care coordination, and building strong relationships with referral sources and community partners. The Clinical Liaison RN provides clinical expertise, patient advocacy, and education while supporting the agencys outreach and growth.
Requirements
Current, unrestricted Washington State license as a professional registered nurse.
Expertise in written and oral communication and Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and respond accordingly.
Ability to provide hospice education to facility staff members, patients, and families.
Willingness to travel within the community.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri?Cities Chaplaincys service areas to provide in?home patient and family services and support in clients homes, facilities, and community locations.
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license; driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements.
This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre?employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
Certification in Cardio?Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Safety (BLS).

Compensation Hiring Range: $36.93/hour $56.10/hour
Position Pay Range (or Salary Range): $36.93/hour $70.17/hour
Benefits Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile, for eligible positions.
Vacation: Accrual of hours each pay period based on hours worked.

Health Requirements: Satisfy state and agency health requirements by providing proof of immunization, declinations, or approved accommodations as applicable.
Screenings: Pass criminal background and drug screenings.

Training and Orientation: Complete agency and departmental orientation and required training programs.
Continuing Education: Complete ongoing education, policy reviews, and training; designated deadlines.
Licensure and Certification: Maintain current licensure(s) and certification(s) required for the role.
Language Proficiency: Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Work Availability: Be available to work as assigned or scheduled.
