Overview We are seeking a motivated Clinical Educator with home health care experience to join our team in Colorado. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive clinical education to staff across the Front Range, ensuring they provide the highest quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities Conduct new hire clinical orientations, including training and competency assessments, across all Colorado locations as needed
Administer annual competency evaluations for all clinical staff in Colorado
Lead and coordinate monthly in-services and Continuing Education Unit (CEU) sessions
Partner with the Directors of Nursing to ensure clinical staff are competent in the skills required to deliver exceptional patient care
Maintain a small caseload of patients to provide consistent shadowing opportunities for staff
Oversee branch SIM Labs, ensuring proper supply management for nursing and adherence to budgetary constraints
Collaborate with QA and Clinical teams on educational initiatives related to Value-Based Purchasing (VBP), Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs), incidents, surveys, and advanced training
Develop and manage the student/preceptor program, creating a positive and supportive experience for students as they begin their careers with the agency
Assist with OASIS Quality Assurance when educator duties are required, at a minimum
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Must have an active RN license with the state of Colorado
Minimum of two years of experience in home care
Experience working with both adults and pediatrics
Experience on the home health (intermittent) side as well as the Private Duty Nursing (PDN) side
Current CPR certification
Licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order and willingness to drive to all four locations for staff training/orientation
OASIS experience
Compensation and Schedule Pay: 80K-85K per year
Sign-on bonus: 2500K (sic) – please verify currency and amount
Eligible for on-call pay and visits completed after hours
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 08:30am–5:00pm; weekends not normally required unless on-call
Expected to work approximately 40 hours per week
