Florida Doctors Group is a leading MSO committed to improving health outcomes, ensuring compliance, and supporting our providers through hands-on collaboration. We’re currently seeking a dedicated HEDIS Coordinator to join our Quality team and help drive performance across our provider network.

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HEDIS Coordinator with a solid understanding of Medicare and Medicaid to support our quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HEDIS data collection, reporting, and compliance efforts, and be passionate about improving member health outcomes and supporting provider performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate HEDIS data collection and abstraction from EMRs and medical records.

  • Assist with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives related to HEDIS measures.

  • Track provider performance and identify gaps in care.

  • Collaborate with provider offices to ensure appropriate documentation and timely submission of data.

  • Prepare and present regular updates and reports on HEDIS performance.

  • Ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and state-specific quality programs.

  • Support member outreach efforts related to preventative screenings and care closure.

  • Work with internal teams (credentialing, provider relations, IT) to streamline workflows and ensure data accuracy.

  • Assist in audit preparation and submissions when required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working directly with HEDIS measures.

  • Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid programs.

  • Experience with EMRs/EHRs and medical record review.

  • Familiarity with NCQA standards and HEDIS metrics.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data tools (e.g., reporting dashboards, quality tracking systems).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Preferred:

  • Background in healthcare administration, nursing, or public health.

  • Experience working in an MSO or with managed care organizations.

  • Knowledge of care coordination and population health strategies.
