Job Responsibilities

Lead a specialized sales team to drive customer adoption and sales of Informatics products

Mentor and motivate team members to exceed sales targets while collaborating with internal stakeholders

Ensure accurate reporting of sales pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts

Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, academic institutions, and thought leaders

Represent the employer at industry events and conferences to promote the Informatics portfolio

Qualifications

15+ years of relevant experience in software within the genomics, healthcare, or life sciences industry, including at least 10 years in sales and 5 years in sales management

Strong knowledge of genomics sequencing workflows and applications

Understanding of DNA/RNA sequencing applications and related data formats

Proven success in leading a sales team and achieving growth in a matrixed environment

Must be located near a major airport and willing to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Biochemistry; a Master's or PhD is highly desired

Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills

Data-driven analytical mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills

Experience in cloud services and providers for genomics

Ability to articulate a clear and inspirational vision
