Physician autonomy with flexibility and no call or weekend requirements
Ability to download all insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors
A dedicated CDE in-office who meets with new patients prior to their first appointment
On-site lab capabilities
Gestational diabetes managed by Perinatology
Strong referral base with many new consultation requests daily
Responsibilities
Seeing approximately 15-17 patients (18+) per day via video
Participating in a 24/7 hospitalist program responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology
Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications
Eligible to work in the U.S. (H1-B cap exempt)
