About the Role
The Company is seeking a Division Vice President of Nursing Informatics to serve as a key expert and leader in the safe and effective deployment of clinical informatics and technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting nursing and patient care clinicians, acting as a vital resource for cross-functional initiatives, and providing divisional nursing leadership support. This role requires a transactional leader who can build strategic alliances, design and implement workflows for clinical information technology systems, and develop support strategies for the integration of clinical technology. The Vice President will also be involved in the development of electronic clinical protocols, monitoring the performance of information systems, and ensuring compliance with federal and state program requirements. Applicants for the Division Vice President of Nursing Informatics position at the company must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in acute care leadership clinical informatics, with a strong preference for those with Meditech experience. A Master's degree in health informatics, business administration, or nursing is required, along with a Texas RN license and national certification in nursing informatics. The role demands a candidate with expert proficiency in MediTech and a deep understanding of healthcare technology and clinical systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, collaboration across service lines, and the ability to manage multiple projects and a large team. Skills in project management, data analysis, and the ability to be a servant leader in support of strategic initiatives are essential.
