Job Overview:
The RN Case Manager is a member of the case management team and has the responsibility for oversight of the following functions in the hospital: Social Services, Discharge Planning, Utilization Review, Infection Control, Improving Organizational Performance, and Risk Management. The RN Case Manager assists the department directors and the Medical Staff in assuring compliance with HCFA, JCAHO and state regulations.

Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky or other compact licensure state

Minimum three (3) years of related clinical experience

Strong communication with physicians and leadership

Preferred Certification/License/Experience:

BSN

Previous quality assessment and/or quality improvement experience

Previous Case Management experience
