Requirements
Knowledge and skills normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in human services or a behavioral healthcare field.
Associate’s degree in human services or behavioral healthcare with some paid or volunteer experience in chemical dependency treatment preferred.
Valid State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certification required .

Job Description
The Counselor Assistant/Case Manager initiates and assists counselors with case management services. Responsibilities include intake, orientation, assessment, recommending continuing care, facilitating community linkages, and providing mental health and chemical dependency counseling. Acts as clinical support within the department, assisting clinic operations and covering clinical services, UDS screens, and case management as needed.
