Responsibilities Provide support to the Clinical Informatics Director/Assistant Director
Provide system support to physicians and support staff to include retraining, problem identification and workflow review. Provide physician training.
Builds supporting documents from specs and outlines provided by physicians/clinical staff following departmental standards and guidelines.
Analyze workflow and determine the best methods for automating the office processes.
Responsible for the testing and implementation plan for all upgrades related to the EHR. Assist with application and integrated system testing.
Maintains the EHR system related to record updates and overall system functionality.
Work Environment & Physical Demands Cubicle workspace; ability to multi-task.
Extreme accuracy and attention to details required.
Ability to interpret data and create data from multiple sources.
Good hearing and vision for computer and phone system.
May require sitting for long periods.
May require travel to other locations to support the physicians and users. Ability to use keyboard and mouse. Utilize phone system.
Requirements High school graduate. Two-year degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but not required.
Computer experience.
Epic EHR Or Comparable EHR Experience Required.
Use of MS Office tools.
One year experience in an Ambulatory setting.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
