We are seeking an experienced Tax Resolution Case Manager to join our growing team. This role is focused on the later stages of client representation, where accuracy, persistence, and client care are essential. The ideal candidate has a strong organizational background, has experience in tax resolution (or similar) managing client expectations, and demonstrates exceptional skill in conflict resolution and detail management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in the later phases of representation.
Manage the close-out process to ensure cases are resolved efficiently and completely.
Collect, review, and organize complex financial documentation with precision.
Partner with in-house tax professionals to advance case strategy and implementation.
Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear updates, setting realistic expectations, and resolving concerns with professionalism.
Maintain strict adherence to deadlines, compliance requirements, and case timelines.
Address client complaints and challenges with patience, empathy, and effective problem-solving.
Qualifications
Proven experience in case management within tax resolution, legal, or financial services.
Demonstrated ability to manage clients through complex and sometimes adversarial situations with tact and professionalism.
Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing high volumes of documentation and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex matters clearly and calmly.
Skilled in conflict resolution, client retention, and building trust.
Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
Position Details
Full-time, Monday–Friday (8-hour shift)
In-person role at our Woodland Hills, CA office
Compensation: $22.50–$25+/hour, commensurate with experience.
