Overview Case Manager Immigration Bilingual Spanish at The GEO Group, Inc.
Responsibilities Provides case management of Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) participants from entry to release, administering DHS contract requirements.
Develops and maintains case records, individual service plans, and conducts intake/orientation within contractual timeframes.
Installs electronic monitoring equipment and monitors compliance; assists participants with travel documents; coordinates translation services.
Coordinates with community resources, schedules counseling and legal services, and conducts home visits to verify residence.
Evaluates English proficiency, maintains confidentiality, and prepares progress reports; reports program violations timely.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice or related field.
At least two years of customer service or case management experience; experience in law, social work, detention, corrections or multicultural work preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish required. Valid driver’s license; ability to pass federal background check; US citizenship and residency requirements.
Effective verbal/written communication; ability to interpret rules and prepare reports; sound judgment; ability to handle stressful situations and defuse hostility; attention to detail; basic knowledge of immigration laws; basic computer skills; ability to operate electronic monitoring systems.
Must live in the US for 3 of the last 5 years (military or study abroad included).
Must be able to travel locally; comfortable with office and field settings.
