Position Overview
We are excited to announce entry-level openings for Case Manager Assistants to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our case managers and attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services. Responsibilities
Collect, organize, and file medical records and documents
Initiate insurance claims
Open Medi-Cal/Medicare/Private Insurance Liens
Support investigation efforts and coordinate with investigators to collect witness statements
Arrange medical appointments for clients
Order and check status of Traffic Collision Reports
Assist with client communications
Draft and send miscellaneous lettersFill out and file forms (i.e. SR1 and SR19)
Provide daily assistance to the Case Manager
Cover for the Case Manager in case of absence
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, processes, and procedures
Capable of efficiently managing high work volumes in a fast-paced setting and adapting to changes
Ability to maintain professionalism, always responding calmly and courteously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments, with a willingness to take on additional duties as required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficiency in Spanish is desirable; candidates fluent in Spanish are encouraged to apply
Compensation
$20 to $25 per hour
