Job Overview
Immediate need for a talented Case Manager for a 12‑month contract with long‑term potential. Position located in Portland, OR (Remote) with flexible remote options.
Compensation
Pay Range: $25.00–$27.00 per hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave depending on work location.
Responsibilities
Research and respond to member grievances and appeals that pose a risk to the organization within 24–72 hours.
Meet regulatory requirements and improve member experience.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve appeals and grievances.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 6 years of customer service experience with heavy writing and speaking with customers over the phone.
Experience in healthcare environment and with BlueShield, Aetna acceptable.
Proficient with Windows-based applications, MS Word, Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and time‑management.
