Under the direction of the VP of Business Informatics, the Business Informatics Specialist will support various operational departments by developing key metrics and reporting tools, and analyzing organizational functions using Tableau, COGNOS, and Microsoft Office (mainly Excel). This role involves cross-functional responsibilities supporting departments such as Sales, Client Success, Clinical, Claims, Pharmacy Network, and Trade. The specialist will report on the success of strategic initiatives and identify opportunities, presenting findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities: Develop Python scripts to automate reports and improve processes.
Build and manage reports and dashboards using Tableau.
Create and maintain reports measuring organizational functions, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Use COGNOS to analyze data from the Data warehouse supporting organizational strategies.
Build dashboards and reports within COGNOS for enterprise data solutions.
Analyze geographical data to identify organizational opportunities.
Perform detailed reporting for current, new, and prospective clients to support sales and client success.
Monitor pharmacy and client contract guarantees, adjusting performance as needed.
Create reports to oversee client performance goals and outcomes.
Perform quality assurance on your work and team members’ work.
Support the Business Request process, including developing planning rules and QA of requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Experience with Python coding preferred.
College degree or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency with database management and data analysis presentation tools.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
Knowledge of COGNOS Business Software.
Tableau experience preferred.
Knowledge of prescription claim adjudication preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
