Summary
Applies in‑depth knowledge to develop and deliver educational programs to healthcare professionals by conducting needs assessments, designing and implementing educational curricula, facilitating training sessions or workshops, evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs, and staying abreast of current healthcare practices and advancements. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, contributes to the professional development of healthcare providers, and enhances patient care through effective clinical education initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and conduct educational programs and materials to support safe and effective patient behavioral health care.

Apply in‑depth knowledge for behavioral health training and education to healthcare professionals to ensure patient outcome improvement.

Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and address any gaps in knowledge or skills to ensure consistent enhancement of patient care.

Administer evaluations of clinical staff performance and the effectiveness of educational programs, offering improvements where needed.

Mentor and coach healthcare professionals to improve their clinical skills and knowledge to ensure continuous growth and improvement.

Maintain accurate records of educational programs and materials, knowledge assessments and reviews, analytical reports, and budget parameters ensuring accurate and compliant handling and storage.

Create and implement quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and coaching to staff to achieve a positive impact on the education and development of clinical staff.

Coordinate with staying up‑to‑date with industry trends, promoting evidence‑based practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the organization’s goals and key deliverables are met.

Identify opportunities to design complex and strategic behavioral healthcare improvement initiatives for clinical staff to ensure training program effectiveness and consistency.

Required Qualifications

5 years work experience with Childhood Specialty populations.

Behavioral Health Clinician Licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills.

Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Working knowledge of digital literacy skills.

Ability to deal tactfully with customers and community.

Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and responsibly.

Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate option.

Ability to function in clinical setting with diverse cultural dynamics of clinical staff and patients.

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Education

$54,095.00 - $116,760.00
