Summary

We are currently seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager for our Moffitt Wesley Chapel Campus:

The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations,

ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support

for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization

goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree, or an Associate's degree with BSN in

process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire.

Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree Nursing

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current FL Registered Nurse (RN) license

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required

Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy,

intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient

best practices including patient care, technology, and processes

Preferred Experience

Demonstrated leadership experience preferred

Oncology experience preferred.
