Job Type: Full‑Time; Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM with rotating weekend on‑call coverage and part of the Manager on Duty program.
Pay Rate: Starting at $65,000 depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrates excellent decision‑making skills and understands the impact of those decisions.

Sets and manages priorities.

Accepts calls from staff during nights and weekends.

Conducts meetings/training as required.

Communicates clearly, accurately, and timely.

Reviews associate applications, checks references, and interviews applicants.

Monitors associates’ work and performance; coaches and counsels respectfully.

Completes associate performance evaluations per established policy.

Monitors expenditures weekly to ensure budget compliance.

Schedules associates based on budgeted FTEs and prepares assignments for efficiency.

Provides hands‑on care as needed to meet resident needs.

Evaluates residents to determine level of care and services.

Participates in monthly ECC & LNS meetings with Director of Resident Services and Corporate Director of Nursing.

Ensures medication orders are accurate on the MORS.

Reviews and investigates incident reports; recommends appropriate action to the Executive Director.

Adheres to assisted‑living healthcare regulations and keeps a safe environment free of hazards.

Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits; follows emergency procedures.

Takes initiative, seeks information, and offers solutions or suggestions.

Willingly takes on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties.

Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Resident Services and Nursing Departments, training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years related experience or equivalent education.

Valid Nursing license.

Language ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, and technical documents; write reports and correspondence.

Mathematical ability to perform basic arithmetic, ratios, and interpret data graphs.

Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.

Computer skills in word processing and electronic medical record systems.

Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, lift up to 50 lb, and work in a care setting.

Exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other typical occupational hazards of the care environment.
