Overview Aquatic Informatics - B2B Field Sales, Water Industry (Ohio Valley) role at Veralto/Hach. This is a field sales position focused on acquiring new customers, driving growth, and solving water monitoring challenges.
Responsibilities The B2B Field Sales position is the primary front line sales representative for AQI. Build and foster relationships with prospective new customers and help them solve their toughest water monitoring challenges.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead to close, sharing customer insights with product teams to drive innovation.
Work from a home office with an entrepreneurial mindset; develop and execute a sales plan and manage territory.
Collaborate with other Veralto sellers (Hach, OTT Hydromet) as appropriate.
Travel approximately 50% of the time within the territory (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Ontario, Canada). Must live within a reasonable commute of a large airport.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in water industry or adjacent sales with a track record of closing deals and meeting/exceeding targets.
Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying role, preferably in B2B field sales.
Self-starter and collaborative team player with strong customer relationship skills.
Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel ~50% of the time.
Preferred/Additional Familiarity with the environmental and/or water industry is preferred.
Consultative solutions-based or direct sales experience preferred.
Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 USD per year, with eligibility for incentive pay. Benefits include paid time off and medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan for eligible employees. The salary range and benefits may be modified at the company’s discretion and are determined by factors including location, experience, and performance.
