About the role The B2B Field Sales position is the primary front line sales representative for AQI. You will build and foster relationships with prospective new customers and help them solve their toughest water monitoring challenges. This is a quota-carrying field sales role with travel expectations of 50% in the territory. Territory includes Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Ontario (Canada). You must live within a reasonable commute of a large airport. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead to close, while sharing knowledge of customer challenges with product teams to help drive innovation. This role is highly autonomous and requires an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to develop and execute a sales plan and manage your territory, including partnership with other Veralto sellers (Hach, OTT Hydromet).
Location : Remote in the U.S. or Canada near an airport for travel flexibility. Territory: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities Build and foster relationships with prospective new customers to solve water monitoring challenges.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
Collaborate with product teams to share customer insights and drive product improvements.
Develop and execute a sales plan for your territory and achieve growth targets.
Travel approximately 50% within the specified territory.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in water industry or adjacent sales with a track record of closing deals and meeting/exceeding targets.
Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying role, preferably in B2B field sales.
Self-starter and team player with motivation to succeed.
Superior customer relationship skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Nice to have Familiarity with the environmental and/or water industry.
Consultative solutions-based sales or direct sales experience.
Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.

Compensation and equal opportunity The compensation range for US roles is $80,000 - $100,000 USD per year, with eligibility for incentive pay. The below range may be modified and is based on factors including education, experience, location, and performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and 401(k).
