Overview Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) Palliative Care role at Complete Care. In-person position serving patients in New Jersey counties including Essex, Hudson, Union, Middlesex, Somerset, Monmouth, and Ocean. NJ Palliative Care partners with RWJ Barnabas Health and Complete Care.
Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive palliative care in hospital and post-acute care environments
Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage ongoing treatment
Provide education and support to patients and families regarding goals of care
Collaborate with physicians, facility staff, and community partners to ensure continuity of care
Document clinical encounters in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Qualifications Active and unrestricted New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license (required)
Experience in palliative care, geriatrics, internal medicine, or related field preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
Compensation & Growth Opportunities Competitive pay with bonus potential
Candidates with 10–15+ years of dedicated palliative care experience may qualify for compensation at the higher end of the pay range
Team Lead roles available for highly experienced APPs, with enhanced responsibilities and compensation
